Screamers Ice Cream Cafe in Radium Hot Springs, BC is looking for a Food Counter Attendant to join our team. Positions Available: 1 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Wage: C$17.85/hour Work Hours: 30~40 hours/week Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary Job Location: Radium Hot Springs, BC Main Job Duties: - Greet customers and take customer orders. - Wash, peel and slice fruits and vegetables using manual and electric appliances. - Prepare fast food items, including ice cream dishes, milkshakes, crepes and sandwiches by using grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment. - Prepare hot beverages, including coffee and tea. - Portion and wrap food, and package take-out food. - Serve ice cream and food at counter according to cafe standards. - Provide positive customer service at the counter. - Follow health, food safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. - Stock refrigerators and keep inventory records. - Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system. - Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the daily checklists and cleaning standards. Requirements: - No degree, certificate or diploma is required, but a minimum completion of Grade 10 is needed. - No experience is required.
