There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Dusty Noisy Work setting Metal product fabrication industry Responsibilities Tasks Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Document work completed Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Forklift Operator Certification Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience Brakes Lifting device Overhead crane Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Metal forming or shaping operations experience Forming Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Manual dexterity Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Judgement Organized Who can apply to this job?
