We are known for our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality food and exceptional service. Currently, we are in the process of hiring an experienced Chef! Employer: 669950 N.B Ltd. (Naru Japanese Restaurant Ltd.) Position: Chef Vacancy: 1 Job Duties: - Oversee and manage food preparation and cooking, ensuring authenticity in Japanese cuisine. - Develop and design traditional Japanese menus, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, and tempura. - Supervise and train kitchen staff, including sous-chefs and sushi chefs, to maintain high standards. - Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients, sourcing premium seafood and other essential items. - Estimate food supply requirements and control inventory to manage costs effectively. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirement: Completion of secondary school is usually required. 3-5 years of experience as a sous-chef is required. Conditions. Wage: $18-$20 / hour (To be negotiated) and 4% of vacation pay Working Condition: 30 - 40 hours a week.
