Business Location: 17489 Telephone Road, Trenton, ON K8V 5P4 Work Location: Same as above and other three warehouses addresses: 354 Tate Road, Trenton, ON K8V 5P4 17452 Telephone Road, Trenton, ON K8V 5P4 220 Fraser Road, Trenton, ON K8V 5P4 Type of Employment: Full-time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description Build pallets Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products Ship orders Pick orders and stock Weigh materials and goods Make labels and attach to goods Wrap goods Pack and unpack goods Sort, crate and stack goods Organize and maintain inventory Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems Maintain a clean working environment Secure good/pallets Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school. Experience: Experience is an asset. We will train. This position is physically demanding and involves manual labour. Workers must be able to work in cold temperatures (-18C). Workers must have good communication skills and be able to use computers. Forklift license is an asset. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Large workload, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required, Mental concentration required. Personal Suitability: Reliability, Team player, Organized, Flexibility. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Work Setting: Various locations, Warehouse. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Language: English is required. Salary: $21.25 per hour, 40-60 hours per week. Start rate of $21.25 per hour, additionally Night Shift Premium - $1.50 per hour or Afternoon Shift premium- 80 cents per hour Benefits: We provide health, dental and extended medical insurance. We also provide boot allowance, fitness allowance, profit sharing, uniforms, reward and incentive programs, training, and paid sick days. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Transportation between work locations is provided by the employer. Important information: Flexibility in schedule and overtime work will be required. The position involves working on rotating shifts and may include weekends. Three shifts M.A.D. weekly rotation: Midnights (11:30 pm to 8:00 am), Afternoons (3:30 pm to 12:00 pm), Days (7:30 am to 4:00 pm). 1 week on midnights, 1 week on afternoons, 1 week on days and then repeat.
