We are committed to delivering exceptional food and service, and we are in the process of hiring a Restaurant Host/hostess. Position: Restaurant Host/hostess (NOC 64300) Employer: 3343574 Nova Scotia Limited (o/a Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant) Location: 5650 Spring Garden Road, Halifax. NS B3J 1H4 Canada Vacancy: 1 Job Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome customers upon arrival. - Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize service flow. - Coordinate and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. - Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area. - Monitor stock of supplies and place orders when necessary. - Assist with staff scheduling and ensure proper coverage during shifts. - Train and guide new staff on service standards and restaurant policies. - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service. - Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks. Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - Previous experience would be an asset, but we will train!
