Position: Baker Employer: 3343574 Nova Scotia Limited (o/a Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant) Location: 2400 Agricola Street, Halifax, NS B3K 4C1 Canada Vacancy: 1 Job Responsibilities: • Prepare and bake breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pastries and other baked goods • Prepare special baked items for customers with dietary needs as directed by chef or nutritionist • Schedule and supervise bakery assistants and kitchen helpers • Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring quality and consistency • Maintain inventory and records of baking ingredients, supplies, and equipment • May clean bakery equipment, ovens, and work area to maintain hygiene standards • May plan and develop new baked items, determine portion sizes, estimate ingredient requirements and costs, and monitor or order supplies Requirements: - Completion of secondary school. - 2+ years of baking experience is required.
